She was predeceased by: her husbands, Lowell Dean Braswell and Allen Merritt Wheeler; her parents, Grady Reece and Fannie Mae Reece; and her brothers, Norris Reece and Jack Reece.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Monroe (Ronald), Lane Braswell (Carol), Susan Cobb (Mark) and Paula Mitchell (Jack). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Rock Springs Baptist Church, Woodstock, Georgia.
