He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Robert E. Smith. He is survived by: his children, Mary Elizabeth Smith and George; his daughter-in-law Ann Sosebee; his grandsons, Norm Smith (Elizabeth) and Adam Smith (Bethany); his great grandchildren, David, Penelope, William and Skylar; and his sister Peggy Bickley (Jim). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many beloved friends.
Due to current COVID restrictions a private service at the Georgia National Cemetery will be held.
For those wishing to pay their respect, Norman will lie-in-state at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Georgia National Cemetery currently has a strict floral policy, please consider in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Heritage Fellowship 3615 Reinhardt College Pkwy, Canton, GA 30114 or a charity of your choice.
