He was predeceased by: his wife Mae Tritt; and his son Wayne Armstrong. He is survived by: his children, Linda Owens (Jim), Brenda Tuck, Perry Armstrong (Gerri), Tony Armstrong (Shelia), Kim Allen, Lisa Hollingshed and Jeff Armstrong (Marybeth Stockdale). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
