She was predeceased by: her parents, Pikney Furman Bowen and Ruth Acker Bowen; her siblings, Thamar Bowen, Frank Bowen, Joe Levis Bowen, Clifton Bowen, William Thomas Bowen, Gertha Gentry, Roselle Pruitt, Evelyn Winn, Hilda Olds and Mary Ann McCall; her significant other Horace Louis Campbell, Jr.; and her children, Vickie Lynn and Stephen Louis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Yates (Gary) and Amanda Jones (Bret); her grandchildren, David Yates (Gwen), Kristin Yates Nicholas (David), Sara Kathryn Jones "Katie" and Cloe Grace Jones; and her great grandchildren, Trevor, Dawson Yates, Bella, Sophia and Luke Nicholas. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Beulah Baptist Church, 11491 Veterans Memorial Highway, Douglasville, Georgia 30134.
