It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Kay Shy Hanawalt of Canton, Georgia, who passed away on July 12, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Sandra Lee Shy; and her sister Susan Rae Shy. She is survived by: her husband Lawrence "Larry" Hudson Hanawalt; her father James Burnell Shy; her son William Cantwell (Tara); her grandchildren, Mackenzie, Brooklyn, Hunter, Lacyie, Sharlotte, Joseph and Kristopher; her great grandchild Ryan; and her aunts and uncles, Barbara, Marcella, Ina Jean, Lawrence, Denzel Ray, Ronnie, Junior, Mary, Michelle, Joyce, Daryl, Charles, Sue, Everett, Faye, Lavern and Brenda.
