Virginia Anne Matthews Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Anne Matthews of Canton, Georgia, born in Kirkwood, Missouri, who passed away on July 8, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Michael David Burke; her husband Richard Keith; her brothers, Bill Burke and Father Jack Burke; and her son-in-law Shawn Doherty.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Worland (Rick), Mike Matthews, Margie Matthews, Beth Doherty, Steve Matthews (Carol) and Robert Matthews; and her brother Mike Burke (Mary). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and one great-grandson.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Virginia's memory be made to either St. Paul's Catholic Church, 304 West Grizzard Street, Tullahoma, TN 37388; or Amedisys Hospice.
