She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Black and Belle Hightower Black; her former husband Ernest C. Harper; her husband James Barr; and her siblings, Lowell Black and Lavonda Wright.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael E. (Debbie Harper), Stephen E. (Marie Harper), David Allen (Jo Harper) and Andy Scott (Susan Harper); and her brother Duane Black of Clarkesville. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
