Richard Griffin Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Griffin of Hiawassee, Georgia, who passed away on July 2, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Griffin and Clarice Griffin (Miles). He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Griffin; his daughters, Stephanie Skinner (Stanley) and Meredith Garrison (Craig); his grandchildren, Seth Skinner, Katelyn McMurry (Nathan), Jacob Skinner, Ethan Skinner (Kaitlyn Crowder), Elijah Skinner, Owen Skinner, Sara Bailey (Wiley) and Luke Garrison; his great grandchildren, Lizzie Skinner, Gable Skinner, Mason Skinner, Ava Skinner, Abrah Bailey, Ila Bailey and Griffin Bailey; his siblings, Dennis Griffin (Becky), Tim Griffin, Carol Lane (Larry) and Sandy Griffin; and his brother-in-law Don Hightower (Linda). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
