She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Smith Wood and Raymond Boyd Wood; her husbands, James Bart Godfrey (Jaye) and George James Bevels (Jim); and her grandchildren, Crystal Ellison Elzey and Jeffrey Patrick Cave.

She is survived by: her children, Charlene Evans, Sherry Berry (John Ledbetter) and Rick Teems (Kim); her grandchildren, Anissa Ellison, Leslie Ellison Jr. (Tiffany), Elizabeth Babb (Jeremiah), Ryan Teems (Michelle) and Josh Teems (Maegan); her great grandchildren, Michael Elzey Jr. (Cindy), Marcus Elzey (Whitley), Lucy Mitchell (Aaron), Olivia Cave, Joe Cave, Lexi Ellison, Conner Ellison, Kingston Babb, Archer Babb, Brycen Teems, Brody Teems, Reed Ezell, Emrey Kate Teems and Aven Mae Teems; her great great grandchildren, Morgan Elzey, Jonathan Elzey, Mattie Elzey and Jonah Elzey; and her pets, Maggie and Suzy.
