He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward D. Parsons Sr. and Kadell Brown Parsons Mann; his stepfather Bunch Harrison Mann; and his wife Eloise Holmes Parsons. He is survived by: his daughter Kim Turner (Ken); his sisters, Linda Cater (Richard) and Cathy Turley; and his grandson Wesley Green. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

The family would like to request in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Tranquility House, P.O. Box 1383, Cartersville, GA 30120, in honor of Mr. Parsons.
