It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny Boyd Garrett (Cartersville, Georgia), born in Bryant, Alabama, who passed away on June 6, 2018, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Hubert Elmer Garrett; and his siblings, Clarence Garrett, Wayne Garrett and Barbara Slaton. He is survived by: his mother Dovie "DoDo" Golden; his children, Eddie Garrett and William Henderson (Jessica); his sisters-in-law, Shirley Garrett and Linda Garrett; and his grandchildren, Jonathon Garrett, Nora Henderson, Braxton Burnett and Haley Burnett. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers the family is requesting memorial contributions to the funeral home in Johnny's name.
