She was predeceased by: her parents, Hughdon Samuel Martin and Cloma Grace Smallwood; and her husband Rufus Haygood. She is survived by: her children, Theresa Haygood of Cartersville and Todd Haygood of Cartersville; her siblings, Judy Abercrombie of Adairsville, Joyce Beech (William) of White Plain and Terry Martin (Glenda) of Cartersville; and her close friends, Nancy Apgar, Connie Abernathy and Nell Worsham. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
