With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Retta Ballard (Cartersville, Georgia), who passed away on February 5, 2019 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walt Land and Willa Mae Clark Land; her husband Jerry Ballard; and her brother Richard Land. She is survived by: her children, Judy Forsyth (Travis), Buzz Ballard and Dennis Ballard (April); her grandchildren, Jason Forsyth, Taylor Ballard, Stephanie Neal, Colbi Ballard and Tyler Hays; her great grandchildren, Jordan Ballard, Sophie Ballard, Willow Hays and Olive Hays; her siblings, Joe Land (Sue), Millie Bell (Kenny), Libby Goss Theresa Duncan (Dwight), Lynda Ponder (Larry) and Priscilla Roberts (Phillip); and her sister-in-law Jayne Land.
In lieu of flowers those desiring may make memorial contributions in Retta's honor to Cartersville Relay for Life.
