He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Samuel Weems, Sr. and Zulia Hudson Weems; his son William Dexter Weems, Sr.; and his grandson Will D. Weems. He is survived by: his wife Betty L. Weems; his daughters, Sonya L. "Sunshine" Smith and Sybil R. Weems; his grandchildren, Sharika L. Weems, Whitney N. Weems, William D. Weems, Jr., Porcha L. Curtis, Henry "Torey" Smith and Reunda R. Smith; his sister Barbara Green, Sr. (Clayton); his godson Marcus Harris; and his close friends, Richard Witt, Charles Johnson Sr., Eugene Smith, Jr. and Brad Agee. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Due to COVID-19 regulations and guidelines, physical distancing practices will be in place, and MASK ARE REQUIRED for those that will be attending the service.
