It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Franklin Hinson of Fortson, Georgia, who passed away on July 2, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gatlin Hinson and Mary Gladys Smart Hinson; and his grandson L. D. Carson David Peacock. He is survived by: his wife Joan Kimbro Hinson; his daughter Kimberly Hinson Peacock (David); his brother Mickey Hinson (Sandra); his grandchildren, Brandon Franklin Peacock (Brianna) and Whitney Brook Peacock (Shelby); and his great grandchildren, Braylee Nicole Peacock, Brynn Carson Peacock and Winter Ray-Morrison Peacock. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
