It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin Lee Hopkins of Cedartown, Georgia, who passed away on January 23, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Hopkins and Annie Welchel Hopkins; his children, Kathy Hopkins Bragg and Donnie Lee Hopkins; and his brothers, Bunn Hopkins, Bobby Hopkins and John "Tinker" Hopkins.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda Hopkins; his son Randy Hopkins; his grandsons, Brandon Hopkins (Nicole) and Austyn Hopkins (Kayla Weiss); his great grandchildren, Macey, Abby, Ella and Paisley Hopkins; and his siblings, Ray Hopkins (Sara), James Hopkins (Barbara), Ronnie Hopkins (Angi), Diane Harrell, Wynette White, Barbara Ann (Jimmy) and Joyce McLarty (David).
