With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Alexander of Cedartown, Georgia, born in Trion, Georgia, who passed away on July 4, 2020 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul H. Kelley and Lillian Agnes Murphey Kelley; her husband James; and her brothers, Joe Kelley and Mark Kelley.
She is survived by: her children, Teri Leann Smith, Jeanne Powell (Van), Kelly McLendon (Laura) and Sonny Alexander (Beth); and her siblings, Fran Martin (Tom), Jean Landrum (Bunyan Carnes) and David Kelley. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family respectfully requests that all floral arrangements be omitted and that memorial contributions be made in her honor to St. Jude Hospital, at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
