He was predeceased by: his parents, William Knight and Minnie Knight; his siblings, Mary Lou Knight, Ella Buchanan and Johnny Knight; and his great grandchild Chris Tanner.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Lane Knight; his children, Sharon Ritch (Larry), Wendy Armstrong, Frankie Waits (Becky) and David Knight; and his siblings, Junior Knight (Alice), Elbert Knight (Syble), Jimmy Knight, Charles Knight (Loretta), Annie Bell Knight, Bessie Hooker (Gene) and Velma Weaver. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
