She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Smith and Mimmes Lee Stevens Smith; her daughter Tammy Cheatwood; her grandson Richard Chad Smith; and her siblings, George Smith, Jr., Robert Smith, Edward Smith, Catherine Smith and Bonnie Laminack.
She is survived by: her children, Hughdon Smith (Bonnie), Freda Rangel, Pamela Campbell (Wade) and Richard Smith; and her siblings, Billy Ray Smith (Caroline), Melvin Smith (Joan), Mike Smith (Shelia), Shirley Dowdy and Edna Stephens. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
