He was predeceased by: his parents, John William and Willie Mae Barnett Shaw; and his brother J. W. Shaw. He is survived by: his wife Ann Tanner Shaw; his children, Teresa Meade (Bruce) and Christopher Shaw; his sister Edna Medlin (Joe); and his grandchildren, Bruce J. Meade (Tiffany), Steve Meade, Lafe Meade (Michelle), Katie Meade (Josh) and Kellie Cunningham (Mikki). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family has respectfully requested that floral arrangements are to be omitted and donations can be made to Youngs Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, 2255 Antioch Road, Cedartown, GA 30125.
