With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Joann Lay Mayben of Cedartown, Georgia, who passed away on July 5, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henry and Margarie Slaughter Lay. She is survived by: her husband James Howard Mayben; her children, Janna Ruark (Jeff), Alecia Kelley (John) and Todd Howard Mayben (April); her sister Willene Lay Newman; her grandchildren, Jeremy Ruark (April), James Ruark (Amanda), Candice Mayben, Crystal Mayben, Carli Mayben, Clayton Mayben, Jodi Grace Kelley, Emilee Kelley and John Alvin Kelley; and her great grandchildren, Taylor Ruark, Brynlee Ruark, Jacqueline Ruark and Aiden Ruark.
The family is accepting flowers; however, donations can also be made to First Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 101 N. College Street, Cedartown, GA 30125.
