It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Bentley of Cedartown, Georgia, born in Apopka, Florida, who passed away on February 9, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Morton Tarte; her sister Frances Hale; and her parents-in-law, Bill and Laura Bentley. She is survived by: her husband Jerome Bentley; her children, Jason Bentley (Kelly) and Jody Smith (Donnie); her grandchildren, Cynthia Casey, Rodney Smith, Jake Bentley, Rhys Smith and Rhyder Smith; her sister Nancy Atcheson of Durham, NC; and her cousin Robbie Ferrell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Social distancing guidelines will apply and masks are recommended.
The family respectfully requests that flowers be omitted and memorial donations be made to The Good Neighbor Center Food Bank.
