He was predeceased by: his parents, Bluford Burgess and Dorothy Mayfield Burgess; and his brothers, Garry Burgess and Jerry Burgess. He is survived by: his wife Audrea Burgess; his children, Rebecca Burgess and Thomas Burgess; and his siblings, Charlotte McBurrett, Sandra Marks (Lee), Phillip Burgess (Vickie) and Ronald Burgess (Diana).
