He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Watson Sanford and Agnes Inez Carter Sanford; and his brother Charles Sanford. He is survived by: his siblings, Susan Barker (Mike), Lynn Bradshaw and Steve Sanford; his nephews, Jeff and Casey; and his sister Dee Dimou.
