It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Carter Hood of Cedartown, Georgia, born in Indian Head, Maryland, who passed away on June 13, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cicero Marion and Burma Broome Hood; his daughter Jackie Hood Landrum; his wife Gail Piper Hood; his daughters, Karen Johnson (Ross) and Kathy Carr (Barry); and his son-in-law Steve Landrum. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
