With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Paul Cothran of Cedartown, Georgia, born in Centre, Alabama, who passed away on October 16, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Olus and Willie J. Hampton Cothran; his daughter-in-law Wendy Cothran; his brothers, Kenneth Cothran and Gary Cothran; and his great grandchildren, Jacob Cothran and Abigail Grace.
He is survived by: his wife Edna Anderson Cothran; his children, Pam Burns (Butch), Johnny Cothran, Jeff Cothran (Lisa) and Mark Cothran (Tonya); and his sisters, Betty Nunley, Wilma Davis and Frances Pearson. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and other extended family.
In accordance with the guidelines and recommendations set forth by the CDC, social distancing guidelines will be in place as well as the use of masks requested for all services provided for Mr. John Paul Cothran.
