She was predeceased by: her parents, Rockie Andrew and Mary Colleen Meeks Gillens; and her husband Dwight "Red" Sanders. She is survived by: her son Wesley Andrew Mitchell; her siblings, Connie Swancey (John) and Dean Starling (Angela); her sister-in-law Rouzelle Sanders; and her nephew Joey Sanders (Pam).
