He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Cox and Lucy Cox Caldwell; his wife Faye Cox; and his brother Charles Cox. He is survived by: his children, Patricia Hatfield (Michael), Vicki Mayes (Philip), Lloyd "Eddie" Cox Jr. (Kathy), Paul Cox (Joyce) and James "Jim" Cox (Lisa). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
