Mary Kathryn Rountree Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Kathryn Rountree of Cedartown, Georgia, born in Summerville, Georgia, who passed away on October 3, 2020 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Webster Mallew Frady and Lillie Mae Witt Gilreith; her stepfather Willie Gilreith; and her siblings, Corabelle, Eugene, Don, Earnest, Leon and Billy.
She is survived by: her husband Herbert Rountree; her children, Donna Leatherwood (Glenn), Paul Rountree (Chandra) and Amanda Watson (Marion); her brother Roy Frady; her grandchildren, Jessie Hudgins, Jacob Hudgins, Derek Rountree, Abbigail Rountree, Patience Rountree, Katie Caffey and Emi Bentley; and her great grandchildren, Georgia Hudgins, Colton Hudgins and Landon Raybun. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In accordance with the guidelines and recommendations set forth by the CDC, social distancing guidelines will be in place as well as the use of masks are required for all services provided for Mrs. Rountree.
The family is accepting flowers; however, donations can be made to the Cedartown Public Library in memory of Mrs. Rountree, 245 East Avenue, Cedartown, GA 30125.
