It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Owens of Cedartown, Georgia, born in Fort Payne, Alabama, who passed away on October 1, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Hardinger and Florence Pope Hardinger; her son Russell D. C. Owens; and her siblings, Ruby Hardinger, Doris Cochren and Bobby Hardinger.
She is survived by: her husband Doug Owens; her son Kirk Owens (Barbara); her brother Tom Hardinger; her grandchildren, K. J. Owens, Kathalean Owens Little (Daryl), MiKayla Owens Brewster (Trevor), Zachary Owens and Bradley Owens; her niece Angie McCain (Lee); her fiancés, Russell D. C. Owens and Jaimee Little; and her partner's children, Harley and Ryan Little. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial gifts be made in Mrs. Owens memory to the Bellview Baptist Church.
