He was predeceased by: his father Faustino Escutia; and his sister Catarina Escutia. He is survived by: his mother Maria Reyes; his wife Maria Escutia-Cruz; his children, Laura Escutia (Carlos Hernandez), Ariana Escutia, Alejandro Escutia (Angeles Elorza), Juan Escutia and Enrique Escutia; his siblings, Pascual Escutia, Rosendo Escutia, Ines Escutia, Thomas Escutia, Raul Escutia, Jenaro Escutia, Yolanda Escutia and Irma Escutia; and his grandchildren, Yhonick Escutia, Kaamila Escutia, Alonso Hernandez and Melanie Hernandez. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
