He was predeceased by: his parents, C. N. Daugherty and Clara Gattis Daugherty; his wife Nancy Bates Daugherty; and his siblings, Gary Daugherty and Shirley Tanner.
He is survived by: his daughter Donna Nebel (Karl) of Cedartown; his grandchildren, Missy Garcia, Dr. Christopher Nebel (Michelle), Laura Ray (Scott) and Andrea Smith (Seth); and his great grandchildren, Ethan Garcia, Jonas, Suzannah, Abigail Nebel and Greyson Smith.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial donations be made to the Cedartown Church of Christ, 326 East Avenue, Cedartown, GA 30125.
