She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry Shooks and Carrie Ware Shooks; and her daughters, Rhonda Danyell Potts and Andrea Latrice Potts. She is survived by: her children, Taka Smith (Datrius), Alfred Potts (Delonda) and Alex Potts; her boyfriend Gary Thomas; and her sister Vicky Benson. She is also survived by grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
