He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny "Jake" Shaw and Bertha "Tina" Norton Shaw; and his brother Johnny "Bubba" Shaw, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Connie Short Shaw; his sons, Adam Short (Ashely) and Michael Shaw; and his sister Brenda Milam (Sammy). He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
