He was predeceased by: his parents, A. L. Keener and Ethel Keener; and his sisters, Rachel Cochran and Pauline Nixon Mealer. He is survived by: his sister Evelyn Keener Hilton of Chatsworth; his sibling's children, Karen Dunn of Chatsworth and Rick Nixon of Chatsworth; and his cousin Brenda Doyle of Dalton.
