She was predeceased by: her parents, Harlen Cole and Shirley Lloyd Cole; her husband Mark Carpenter; her brothers, Frank (Jacqueline Cole), Larry Cole, Marvin Coyle and John Coyle; and her siblings' children, Steven Carpenter and Tonya Carpenter.
She is survived by: her brother Robert Coyle of Waterford, MI; and her niece Salli (Steven Summers).
