He was predeceased by: his wife Louise Timms Coker; his parents, John Coker and Ida Elrod Coker; his siblings, Noel Coker, Roy (Katherine Coker), Ray (Mary Coker), Leon (Juanita Coker), George Vernon (Margie Coker), Alean (Virgil Carroll), Louise (Steve Stephens) and Hazel (Ed Ryan); and his brothers-in-law, Lamar Overton and Tom Stinnett.
He is survived by: his son Tim; his daughter-in-law Wanita Coker; his daughter Tammy; his grandsons, Wyatt Langford, Clint Coker and Cody Langford; his great grandchild Jaida Smith; his siblings, Nellie Overton and Cliff; and his sisters-in-law, Pat Timms, Myra Pletcher and Rachel Stinnett. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
