She was predeceased by : her husband James Gilbert, Sr.; her parents, Luther Vaugh and Annie Floyd Vaugh; her children, James Gilbert, Jr., Kelvin Gilbert and Pamela Elaine Gilbert; and her granddaughter Pamela Renee Cox.
She is survived by : her daughter Diane; her son-in-law Bobby Parker of Chatsworth; her son Michael Gilbert of Chatsworth; her daughters-in-law, Melody Gilbert of Chatsworth and Marsha Gilbert of Dillon, S. C.; and her sisters-in-law, Shirley Seay of Chatsworth and Isabell Gilbert of Dalton. She is also survived by Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
