It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Rovene McGatha (Chatsworth, Georgia), born in Cedar Bluff, Alabama, who passed away on August 4, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Edward Brewster and Katherine Weaver Smith; her siblings, Donnie Brewster and Annabelle Brewster; her son-in-law Allan Watkins; and her sisters-in-law, Gail McGatha and Kay McGatha.
She is survived by: her husband Troy McGatha; her daughters, Debra (Ronnie Blevins), Vickey (Tom Smith), Regina (Scott Cunningham), Kathy (Randy Croy), Pam (Bobby Ridley) and Michelle Watkins of Chatsworth, GA; her siblings, Bill Brewster of Rocky Face, GA, Barry Brewster of Texas, Bobby Brewster of Dalton, GA, Betty Ann Joffee of Maryland and Susan Brewster of Texas; her sisters-in-law, Janice, Patsy, Peggy and Doris; and her grandchildren, Chad McGatha, Jay Blevins, Thomas Smith, Angela Muse, Troy Wood, William Wood, Shannon Rosser, Nancy Ridley, Jerome Ridley, Rachelle Brafford, Tiffani Stanley and Andy Smith. She is also survived by several great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
