He is survived by : his son Max Roach; his father Alfred Sizemore of Ringgold; and his siblings, Benny Lee Sizemore of Rocky Face, Vicky Gray of Ringgold, Mary Ruth Evans of Canton, Judy Carter (Bobby) of Tunnel Hill, Betty King (Wilbur), Peggy Passwater of Tunnel Hill, Carol Slaton of Ringgold and Kathelene Wheats of Ringgold. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
