She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. John Belk Godfrey and Esther Bennett Godfrey; her husband Alvin C. Nichols; her son Brian C. Nichols; and her brothers, Ralph Godfrey, Ray Godfrey and James Godfrey.
She is survived by: her son John A. Nichols; her daughter-in-law Joy Hester NIchols; her grandchildren, Jessamie N. Vincent, Jason Vincent, Marshal Nichols and Kasey Krippner Nichols; and her great grandchildren, Georgia of Clarkesville, Warren of Clarkesville, Rushing Vincent of Clarkesville, Harper of Clarkesville, Berklee of Clarkesville and Hadley Nichols of Clarkesville.
In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Nichols requested that donations be made to Clarkesville United Methodist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 365, Clarkesville, GA. 30523.
