He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Kinney and Evelyn Smith Kinney; his wife Dorothy Welborn "Dot" Kinney; his son Marvin Cecil Kinney; and his siblings, Raymond, Hugh, Harvey, Beryle, Mildred, Irene and Pauline.
He is survived by: his children, Morris Kinney, Benny Kinney, Sandy (Phil Ivester) and Pam (Jerry Brooks); and his sister-in-law Eula Kinney of Mt. Airy. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; brother.
