He is survived by: his wife Betsy Nichols; his daughter Michelle Nichols Holt (Aaron) of Clayton, Georgia; his sister Judy Riddle of Hiawassee, Georgia; his grandson Joshua Holt (Maegan); and his great grandchildren, SarahBeth Holt, EmmaLee Holt and Rhyne Allen Holt.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
