She is survived by: her husband James Fred Carpenter; and her children, David, Jimmy, Tommy Carpenter, Lester, Missy Carpenter, Jerry Carpenter of Scaly Mtn, Joanne (Dan Mitzlaff), Jane (Randy James), Maybelle (Hayes Bryson) and Brenda Carpenter (Bobbie Sue Carpenter) of Mtn City, GA. She is also survived by Twelve grandchildren and twenty-seven great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
