With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edgar Owens (Clayton, Georgia), who passed away on August 29, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hayman Luther Owens and Mary Ethel Miller Owens; his wife Martha Carolyn Munger Owens; his son Bennie Owens; his grandson Noah Owens; and his siblings, Harry Owens, Bud Owens, Buck Owens, Wayco Owens, Romaine Owens, Charles Owens, Euwilda Pickelsiemer, Madge Munger, Irene Owens and Christine Owens.
He is survived by: his children, James Luther Owens of Highlands, Edgar Eugene Owens (Stacy) of Satolah Ga, Dennis Earl Sr. Owens (Sandra) of Glenville, NC, Johnny Stephen Owens (Marcy) of Satolah, Mary Owens Ridgeway of Anderson, SC., Sherry Lynn and Melissa Euwilda Grace (Brian) of Satolah; and his siblings, Cleveland Owens (Brenda) of Satolah, Clinton (Connie) of Kentucky and Dorothy Keener of Social Circle. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and twenty five plus great grand children.
Due to the COVID -19 pandemic a family service will be held.
The family ask in lieu of flowers donations may be to Beck Funeral Home 898 Hwy 441 South Clayton, Ga., to help with funeral expenses.
