Helen Nichols Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Nichols of Clayton, Georgia, who passed away on October 21, 2020, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Logan Rogers and Deskie Justus Rogers; her husband Carlos Nichols; her siblings, Dean, Morris, Jud Rogers, Ethel Wilson, Fannie Lane and Lexie Dillard; her children-in-law, Dennis Chamblee and Clarice Nichols; and her grandson Clifford Dennis Chamblee.
She is survived by: her children, Jud Nichols, Carlene Lovell (Phil), Rosalyn Chamblee and Patricia Owens (Bob); her grandchildren, Jim Lovell, Christy Smith, Janet Felder (Chris), Jill Bray (Chuck), Matthew Chamblee (Nikki) and Logan Nichols (Emily); and her great grandchildren, Hailey Smith, Jase Bray, Rachel Felder, Grady Bray, Rowan Nichols and Lilly Bray.
Helen lived through two global pandemics, the Spanish Flu Pandemic of 1918-1919 and the Covid-19 Pandemic of 2019-2020.
