He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Speed and Lula Speed. He is survived by: his daughter Alberta Speed (Joshua) of Clayton, GA; his siblings, Calvin Speed (Connie) of Clayton, GA, Mark Speed of Clayton, GA, Farrell Speed of Gainesville, GA and Vivian Henderson of Colorado; and his daughter Daisy Kay-Lynn McCannon.
