It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn McClendon Adamson (Clayton, Georgia), born in Stockbridge, Georgia, who passed away on April 5, 2019, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Ethel Connally McClendon and William Alva McClendon; her siblings, Lucia Annie McClendon McLeroy, Mitzi Tucker Sweetin and William Alva McClendon; her siblings-in-law, Myrle Brown McClendon, James Windell McLeroy and Whit Sweetin; her children-in-law, Nelle Hamby Adamson and Arthur Gernt Bond, I; her grandson Arthur Gernt Bond, II; and her grandson-in-law Curry May.
She is survived by: her husband Albert Ralph Adamson; her children, Albert Ralph Adamson, II (Laurette) and Miriam Adamson McClendon; her grandchildren, Jenny Katherine Tidwell (Paul), Albert Ralph Adamson, III, Meg Adamson May, Sarah Elizabeth Willis, Donna Willis and Wendy Willis; and her great grandchildren, Arthur Gernt Bond, III, Joseph Gage Hadsell, Hailey Elizabeth Hadsell, Curry Julian May, III, McClendon Reeves May, Howard Hickman Tidwell, Graham Reeves Adamson, Miriam Ann Tidwell, Aaron Willis and Chandler Faulkner.
