He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph P. Eidson and Lula Whittaker Eidson; and his brothers, Ronald Eidson, Donald Eidson and Joe Eidson.
He is survived by: his wife Cathie McKay Eidson of Clayton; his mother-in-law Dorothy Stockton; his stepchildren, Michelle Hopkins (Doug) of Clayton, Alyssa Mullins of Clayton and Ryan Williamson (Georgia) of Clayton; his brother Jimmy Eidson of Lithia Springs; his siblings-in-law, Lloyd McKay of Alto, Claudette Woods (Aubrey) of Clayton and Lucille Schmalix of Clayton; his stepgrandchildren, Ashley, Danielle, Brittney and Brayden; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Bentley, Knox, Sawyer and Harlie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
