We are sad to announce that on July 16, 2019, at the age of 87, Betty Lathem (Clermont, Georgia), born in Griffin, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Brooks and Ezelle Brooks; her husband Charles Malcolm Lathem; and her siblings, Gordon Brooks, Billy Brooks, Jack Brooks, Phyllis Brooks and Boyd Brooks.
She is survived by: her children, Charlie Lathem (Deborah Lathem), Richard Lathem (Janet Lathem) and Kathy Merck (Mike Merck); her grandchildren, Josh Lathem (Lisa), Ryan Parrish, Mitch Lathem (Monya), Steven Lathem (Mary Alice), Terry Lathem, Jonathan Lathem and Mandy Lathem; and her stepgrandchildren, Candice Grizzle (Chad) and Trent Merck.
Flowers will be accepted but those desiring may make memorial contributions to Hospice Of Northeast Georgia Medical Center or a charity of their choice in memory of Mrs. Lathem.
